The International Hospital Federation (IHF) recently published a collection of case studies explaining some of the benefits of using open, global standards to underpin digital transformation within hospitals. (May 2019)

This collaborative work between the International Hospital Federation and GS1 focuses on how global identifiers (barcoding) can support the monitoring of safe healthcare and improve efficiency while reducing waste.
