Barcoding made easy

Our Introductory barcode trainingcourse starts with an introduction to barcode numbers and symbols for retail scanning at point of sale.

No previous knowledge of barcoding is required for the Introductory course. The course is also suitable as a refresher for anyone who wants to improve their current barcoding skills. Completion of these GS1 courses will give you the confidence & tools to deal with barcoding in your business, from retail barcodes to SSCCs.

The Introductory Course lasts 90 minutes (2 x 40 minute sessions with a 10 minute break) and is delivered online via Zoom (or Teams on request). Each session is delivered for your company at a date and time to be agreed with you. Please contact our Membership Services team to arrange a date & time that suits you.

Once you have the basics mastered, you can continue to our Intermediate Barcoding course which covers barcodes for logistics and supply chain applications, including GS1 128, SSCCs and traceability in greater detail.

  Training is held online via Zoom (or Teams on request) and can also be delivered in-person in your offices on request (in-company training rates rates apply).

• How much does barcode training cost?

  Each course costs €300 and covers 1 to 4 attendees inclusive. Additional places may be booked on request.
