Working as part of a team the Industry Engagement Executive will create and deliver member benefit by growing the use of GS1 standards and GS1 Ireland’s services by managing a range of supplier on-boarding programmes. This role is “community‐facing” and the successful candidate will undertake a variety of tasks including; gathering and analysing product data; communicating findings; recognising areas of opportunity; working with the community to implement solutions and by providing client support.
The role will also include supporting the development and delivery of training for our Members in both workshop and online environments. In this newly created role, the GS1 Healthcare Executive, together with the Director of Innovation and Healthcare will work to drive awareness and understanding of the benefits GS1 standards can bring to the Healthcare sector.
In collaboration with colleagues from the Industry Engagement and Marketing Teams, the Healthcare Executive will coordinate a range of engagement and communications activities including briefings, webinars & workshops, prepare content for newsletters and case studies, attend industry events and conferences and . support colleagues with the management of current and new healthcare implementation projects.
The ideal candidate for this role will have a background in healthcare, ideally clinical or, at minimum, an understanding of clinical care in Ireland. This role has a technical aspect and the successful applicant must have an aptitude to understand technical language and solutions and be comfortable translating that message in a way that can be understood by all.
