EDI in Ireland

In 2001, GS1 Ireland formally launched the Harmonised EDI Guideline which is based on the D.96A Directory. The harmonised guide (H-EDI), details the messaging requirements for each of the main hubs (retailers and wholesales), using EDI in Ireland. GS1 Ireland recommends that all hubs, spoke companies and service providers use HEDI as their reference document for providing and implementing EDI solutions.
