Rye River become Ireland’s largest craft retail brewery

Following an 11% growth in sales in the last year, Rie River Brewing has become the largest craft retail brewery in Ireland. This news comes in the context of an overall decline in the industry reported by Drinks Industry Ireland. The company has been named the most awarded independent craft brewery in the world for the last 2 years running. It is also preparing for the next phase of growth and is about to go to the market to raise €3.5m for growth capital investment. Rye River is currently making plans to use the brewery as an intimate event space for live music gigs, comedy, theatre and art exhibitions. The venue will be known as 'The Source' and will be available to performers and event organisers on a complimentary basis. Those interested in registering interest to attend or perform at future events at The Source are encouraged to apply via the website.
