Now, let’s hop into it—here’s 10 Irish Eggs for 2025:

1. Van Velze's Dubai Chocolate Egg
If you haven’t heard of the Dubai Chocolate craze yet – congrats! You have officially been living under a rock. Many of the chocolate producers on this list have some version of the Knafeh inspired chocolate available, which combines the flavours of chocolate, pistachio and tahini with filo pasty. Our first pick for 2025 is Van Velze’s Dubai Chocolate Egg, silky smooth, handmade and filled with 8 handmade pistachio eggs. Elegantly hand-painted in green and gold this egg is only available for in-store collection, due to its delicate and fragile nature.
About Van Velze
Irish Deborah and Dutch Rob launched Van Velze’s Chocolaterie and Patisserie in 2008 in the heart of Amsterdam, quickly establishing themselves as one of the cities favourite chocolate destinations. However, the draw of the West of Ireland was strong; so the dynamic duo relocated their award winning chocolate shop to Ballinrobe, Co Mayo; where they continue to source the best ingredients locally.
