Are you coming to Backyard on the road?
Blas Backyard on the Road is back again at the Seamus Ennis Arts Centre in Naul village on Tuesday April 30th. Backyard on the road brings together industry experts and offers a great opportunity to network with your fellow food and drink producers. This year’s sessions are focused on the buying process.
Speakers will include Annie Dunne (The Art of Grate Food), Brian McDermott and Malachy O’Connor (Food First Consulting) who will be delivering presentations and chatting with panellists representing buyers from across the industry.
The day also includes time for networking with your fellow producers, a delicious lunch and refreshments.
Fine tune your food brand: A new branding event for Irish producers
Don't miss out on an exciting new branding event designed to elevate your brand presence. Fully funded by Taste 4 Success Skillnet and organized by Annie Dunne of The Art of Grate Food in association with Blas na hÉireann, this event is free to all producers, whether you join us in person or virtually.
Taking place on May 22nd at Bia Innovator Campus in Athenry, Co. Galway, this will be an educational event focused on unlocking the secrets of brand building to elevate your business. Speakers include brand specialist Pat Kinsley (Neworld), entrepreneur Richard Cullen (Jely Bean Factory), Marketing and Communications specialist Sharon Noonan and consumer insights expert Michelle Frawley of mykidstime.
The event also offers attendees the opportunity to apply for the BrandBite Training Programme, which includes a comprehensive brand workshop, a full brand toolkit, new packaging design, and much more.

West Waterford Festival of Food
West Waterford Festival of Food takes place this weekend from April 19th to 21st. Waterford Festival of Food is one of Ireland’s largest and longest-running community food festivals. The main hub for this 3-day event is the scenic harbour town of Dungarvan, Co. Waterford with events also taking place in nearby Lismore, Ardmore, Villierstown, Ballyduff, Cappoquin and Kilmeaden, making it a unique showcase of the flavours and characters local to this food region.
Fallon Moore (Blas nah Eireann) and Sharon Noonan (Best Possible Taste) are bringing their hugely popular “Liquid Gold” to Dungarvan. Guests will be treated to a tasting of a selection of Blas award-winning beverages (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) whilst Fallon and Sharon discuss the stories of the producers who make them and provide pairing suggestion.
