Barcode Manager has a new look and new functionality

The next time you log in to Barcode Manager you may notice a few updates. The interface has a fresh, cleaner look and the navigation has been simplified, with fewer clicks needed to switch between prefixes and to manage your product data.

Barcode Manager 3.0 launched

Some new functionality (Location Manager) has been added with more new features coming this Autumn including Digital Links management to help you capitalise on the benefits of the new QR Codes powered by GS1. [Read more about GS1 Digital Link and QR Codes at retail point-of-sale.]

What's updated?

  • User Interface: Barcode Manager now has an updated look and feel.
  • Dashboard: To aid easier and quicker navigation the Dashboard has been redesigned and includes the facility to switch between, and select, active prefixes directly on the homepage.
  • Location Manager: A new facility to create and name physical locations (e.g. delivery, ship to, ship from locations, and business entities) will also be available (request to activate the GLN Location Manager).
  • Use the GS1 PictureIt phone app to take, edit and upload product images directly into your Barcode Manager account.
  • Tutorials: A new set of how-to tutorial videos have been created to walk members through the steps of managing their product data in Barcode Manager. 
  • Knowledge Base: The tutorial videos will be published as part of a new searchable Online Helpdesk to answer all your questions about Barcode Manager, and GS1 standards in general. The Online Helpdesk is powered by a knowledge base of articles and is accessible 24 hours per day. Live Chat (during office hours) and Chat Bot support options are also available for Barcode Manager.
