Coolattin Cheddar’s Mount Leinster Cheddar scoops 2 Awards in World Cheese Contest

The Mount Leinster Clothbound Cheddar, made by Tom Burgess of Coolattin Cheddar, won 2 Super Golds at the World Cheese Awards held in Norway.

The Carlow cheese was chosen from 4,500 entries from a worldwide assembly and was awarded trophies for bot Best Irish Cheese and World’s Best Cheddar.

Sustainability awards for Clonakilty Distillery at Cannes event

Clonakilty Distillery clinched several awards at the Global Drinks Intel ESG Awards 2023, during a ceremony held recently in Cannes, France.

This unique awards programme aims to recognise the accomplishments of drinks companies which are at the forefront of sustainability.

Stradbally’s Ballykilcavan Brewing Company Win Sustainability Award

The Brewery picked up the Small and Medium Business award at The Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland Awards 2023.

Sodalicious to open second location in Limerick City

The Sodalicious team have taken the next step on their retail journey by opening a new cafe in Castletroy.

Founded by Jane Conlon, the locally-owned cafe and bakery focused on celebrating all things Irish with a particular focus on Irish soda bread.

Dundalk’s Vida Living expanding its operations with hotels and apartments sector

Vida Living, a Dundalk, Co Louth based furniture design and wholesale business, is expanding its operations with the hotels and apartments sector as it seeks to build on its long-standing business-to-business operation

The business is developing a solution that ensures a full digital journey is mapped for a product from when it enters the warehouse to deliver with the customer.

Newry’s Crilco Confections secure a £1m supply deal with Lidl Northern Ireland

Established in the 1960s, the business has grown to be one of the UK and Ireland’s largest makers of premium boiled sweets, gummies and bonbons.

The deal will create 6 new jobs for the Co. Down manufacturer, which already emplyoys 50 people

Vision Ireland unveils ambitious nationwide rebranding for its 124 stores

GS1 Ireland member Vision Ireland, the new name for NCBI (National Council for the Blind of Ireland), is in the process of rebranding its 124 stores across Ireland as it looks to become the leading retailer in the sustainable fashion trade in Ireland.
