Finalists announced for 2024 SFA Small Business Awards

A number of GS1 Ireland members have been selected as finalists for the 2024 Small Firms Association’s National Small Business Awards, which aims to celebrate the achievements of small business in Ireland.

A total of 12 of the 50 companies shortlisted are GS1 Ireland members. Overall winners are set to be announced at the RDS on March 7th next year.

The list of finalists include GS1 Ireland members Hygeia, Thorn Environmental, Farm Fresh Foods, Burren Smokehouse, Oishii Foods, Murphy’s Ice Cream, HYDE Irish Whiskey, Drink Botanicals Ireland, Nutty Delights, Irish Socksciety, Funky Monkey Foods and Waterford Distillery.

Powerscourt Distillery wins second consecutive award for its visitor centre

Powerscourt Distillery is celebrating winning the Visitor Centre of the Year Award for the second year in a row a the Icons of Whisky Awards Ireland.

Putting the visitor as the focal point of their experience Powerscourt Distillery aim to deliver a first class fully immersive experience.

MERLYN Industries wins Overall Business of the Year Award at Kilkenny Business Awards

Merlyn Industries came out on top after winning the overall business of the year award at this year's Kilkenny Business Awards that took place in Lyrath Estate Hotel on Saturday night.

Harp Renewables win top prize at the Meath Business & Tourism Awards

GS1 Ireland member Harp Renewables based in Kentstown picked up the coveted Overall Excellence title alongside Johnstown Estate Hotel and Spa at the Meath Business & Tourism Awards held last month.

Harp Renewables is a waste to energy company specialising in aerobic and anaerobic digestion systems, saving consumers money on disposal costs.
