GLAS – the leading Irish Garden Landscape and Amenity Sportsturf trade show, is set to return on July 21st to the National Basketball Arena in Dublin after a three-year hiatus. The theme of this year’s show is ‘Your industry. Your event.’ The trade show is an invaluable opportunity for sales, networking and learning opportunities for those in the industry. Key topics of this year’s event are sustainable practice, the future of growing media, targeting the millennial & Gen Z gardener, the changing face of retail and eCommerce, green city initiatives, smart technology and more.

GLAS is for professionals in horticulture, garden retail, sportsturf, grounds maintenance and related industries. Free admission by registration in advance or at the door.

Kelly’s Nursery

Kelly’s Nursery a wholesale nursery based in Streamstown, Mullingar Co. Westmeath supplying to other nurseries. They produce hedging in troughs, pots and in the field, as well as shrubs, conifers, climbers, grasses, perennials, fruit & trees. They have a production area of over 30 hectares producing plants available to plant out in heights from 30cm to 6m in height. They are also able to source larger and more unusual specimens from their many contacts.

Rentes Plants

Rentes Plants is one of the longest-running nurseries in Ireland, having been established on just two and a half acres back in 1979. They specialise in the wholesaling of colourful shrubs, trees, roses and climbers to the retail and landscape markets in Ireland and the UK. They currently stock well in excess of 1000 different species every year, with over 600000 plants grown on their nursery each year, and another 100000+ in traded stock. Rentes Plants currently has 18 acres of land under container production, 8 of which is under cover. Rentes Plants currently has a fulltime staff of 17.
