Unique identifiers such as Global Trade Item Numbers (GTINs), Global Location Numbers (GLNs) and Global Individual Asset Identifiers (GIAIs) can each be used to help make the entire builidng lifecycle more efficient, from design through to procurement, commissioning, handover, maintenance and recycling.
