Dan O'Gorman joined GS1 Ireland in November 2023 and brings over 40 years of experience in program and operations management within the Hi-Tech and Construction industries to GS1. Dan's expertise lies in process improvements, digitization, and project controls and has consistently led to notable cost and schedule savings, with experience ganied on major projects for international corporations across Ireland, Japan, and the US. As an innovator at heart, Dan is passionate about the evolving business landscape, with a focus on sustainability, climate action, and rapid technological advancements. 

Dan works alongside Seán Dennison, Head of Industry Engagement and Technical Standards, to help GS1 members and industry stakeholders across the Construction and Facilities Management sectors, to achieve full benefit from the adoption of GS1 supply chain standards as part of their digital transformation projects.
