Powerscourt Distillery to host the 2021 Irish Whiskey Awards

The 2021 Irish Whiskey Awards have been confirmed for November 11th. After being cancelled last year due to COVID, the gala event will take place at the Powerscourt Distillery, Co. Wicklow. The awards, which are now in their eighth year, include twelve categories, and the whiskey with the highest overall score will become the 'Irish Whiskey of the Year'. The massive growth in Irish whiskey over the past number of years means that competition is tougher than ever, as newcomers go up against established brands. Tickets will be available from the Celtic Whiskey Shop on Dawson Street, Dublin 2, in early October.
