Easter Sunday is just over two weeks away on Sunday 4th April 2021. Here are some outstanding Irish Easter eggs, treats and hampers that you can buy online for delivery, collect in person, or pick up along with your grocery shop.

1. Skelligs Chocolate White Chocolate and Raspberry Easter Egg

About Skelligs Chocolate: Skelligs Chocolate is a family run business based in Ballinskelligs, Co. Kerry. They are the only fully 'open plan' chocolate production facility anywhere in Ireland. They normally have a seasonal café which is usually open Easter to September but is currently closed due to COVID restrictions. They produce a range of chocolate products including truffles, bars and lollipops.

The Product: Skelligs Chocolate have launched a White Chocolate and Raspberry Easter Egg which is new for 2021. They are a limited edition flavour this year. They are available in 175g and 500g sizes.

2. Bean and Goose Dark Chocolate Irish Hare

About Bean and Goose: Bean and Goose was founded in 2014 by sisters Karen and Natalie. They make chocolate at Last Tree Farm based in the Wexford countryside. Bean and Goose chocolate is made using single-origin chocolate "paired with flavours and ingredients that reflect and celebrate the Irish seasons."

The Product: A whimsical dark chocolate Irish hare made with the finest single-origin chocolate. Cocoa solids 62% min.

Their Spring 2021 collection packaging features illustrations inspired by the Irish landscape by Stasele Jakunskaite. Their packaging is all recyclable and sustainable. 3. Butlers Large Wrapped Egg with Truffles

About Butlers: Butlers Chocolates was founded by a pioneering woman called Marion Butler who named her luxury chocolate creations Chez Nous Chocolates. Marion, who was born in India and moved to Ireland as a young woman, continued to make her chocolates until 1959 when the company was bought by Seamus Sorensen from Cork. The company is one of the few remaining family-owned chocolate producers in its market. Butlers Chocolates are available in over 40 countries and 60 airports around the world.

The Product: Butlers large milk chocolate hollow egg, with a selection of mini filled eggs including Caramel, Dark Truffle and Vanilla Truffle, hand wrapped in vibrant pearlised pink recyclable wrap.

4. Handpainted Dark Chocolate Easter Egg from Koko Kinsale

About Koko Kinsale: Launched in March 2012 by Frank Keane, Koko Kinsale brings quality handmade chocolate to local and visitors alike. Frank loves to incorporate local ingredients where possible; using honey, seaweed and herbs all gathered in the area. Koko Kinsale also offers a full range of takeaway coffee, both bean and ground for home brewing. 

The Product: A handpainted dark Belgian chocolate egg made with 72% cocoa solids. Handcrafted in Kinsale. The weight of the egg can vary from 200g – 220g because each egg is handmade.

5. Lir Chocolates Milk Chocolate Octagonal Egg With Truffles

About Lir Chocolates: Lir was created in Dublin in 1987 by Connie Doody and Mary White and began on Connie’s kitchen table. They now have over 250 staff and are based in a state-of-the-art production and warehouse facility in Navan, Co. Meath. Every year Lir produce over 100 Million individual chocolates. Lir Chocolate sustainably source their cocoa in partnership with the Cocoa Horizons Foundation.

The Product: Lir Belgian Milk Chocolate Octagonal Egg with cocoa dusted salted caramel truffles. The packaging on this product is now 99% plastic-free and fully sustainable.

6. The Cupcake Bloke Irish Easter Hamper

About The Cupcake Bloke: Graham of the Cupcake Bloke specialises in cupcakes and bakes and has a bakery in Rialto selling cupcakes, brownies, scones & breads as well as a range of artisanal Irish food products.
