If you are one of the half a million people predicted to participate in Veganuary this year, Best of Irish is here to help with a list of the best vegan products from Irish food producers. For those following a plant-based diet, you don't have to go far to find tasty vegan treats. You can still shop local and enjoy the most delicious food from local Irish suppliers. Here are 10 Irish vegan food brands to try this Veganuary.

1. Flying Squirrel

Flying Squirrel is a vegan, plant-based cheese that uses all-natural ingredients. Their products are naturally dairy and lactose-free and are suitable for vegans and vegetarians. 2. Buttercream Dream

Buttercream Dream is a vegan bakery making luxury cupcakes, occasion cakes and other sweet treats. They make everything in small batches and are available in selected Supervalu, Avoca and Fresh stores. 3. Chocolatey Clare

Chocolatey Clare make luxury chocolate with organic and ethically-sourced ingredients. They are free from dairy and gluten and are vegan friendly. You can buy single bars, packs of six and gift boxes from their online store or find a full list of stockists here.

4. Clever Foods

Clever Foods makes award-winning gluten-free and vegan treats like snickeroos, smores and caramel squares. You can buy their products from their online store or from selected Supervalu stores with Food Academy lines.

5. Happy Tumz

6. Mudita Desserts

"Mudita" is Sanskrit, meaning rejoicing in other peoples good fortune. Mudita Desserts are vegan-friendly, gluten-free, soy-free and sugar-free. For more information on Mudita Desserts, check out their Facebook page. As another Food Academy alumnus, they are available in selected Supervalu stores.

7. Strong Roots

8. SuperNature Snacks

Vada Pow make Bombay-style street food made using whole-food nutrient-rich plant-based ingredients.
