Blas Map: the best of Irish food and drink producers

GS1 Ireland is delighted to support Blas na hEireann and all the food and beverage finalists with the launch of a new interactive map to showcase producers across the island of Ireland.

Our aim with the map is to make it easier for supermarket buyers, chefs, catering businesses, consumers and producers themselves to connect with each other and do business together. The filters on the map enable a site visitor to identify producers based on food or beverage category, award type, County or within a specific kilometre radius of where they are located.

Sustainability, food provenance and buying locally have never been more to the fore of people’s minds than in this year and we hope that the map can play a helpful role to support the adoption of buying local and buying Irish.

The Blas na hEireann 2020 Awards were announced on Saturday 3rd October. A full list of the awards by category can also be found on the Blas website or via the Map.
