Business Analyst (Healthcare and Innovation)

Darren Corcoran joined GS1 Ireland in February 2022 and is currently in the process of completing his Postgraduate Diploma in Digital Transformation at National University of Galway. Having previously graduated from NUIG he holds a BA Degree in Arts and a HDIP in Business Studies. He recently gained a Diploma in Project Management from UCD.

Darren has experience working with Medical Devices in Medtronic. He also has a strong background in Client relations through his role as an Affiliations Co-Ordinator in New York and from his time working as a Property Manager in San Francisco.

In his role with GS1 Ireland Darren works with Healthcare sector organisations, including pharma and medical device companies and healthcare providers, to support their initiatives to comply with regulation, deliver patient safety benefits and realise efficiencies in their operating processes. Darren is passionate about digital transformation and how the use of traceability standards can serve the Healthcare sector.
