Branded Variable Weight (BVW)

A Branded Variable Weight (BVW) Prefix is used to identify products sold by weight at the point of sale e.g. branded cheese, meat, fish, fresh fruit/veg. The assigned prefix is programmed into a scale the products are weighed on and a unique barcode is printed for the price of that item based on the weight.

For new licences the annual rate will be charged pro-rata for the remaining months of the current calendar year to December. The pro-rata rate will be applied automatically during the online application process. All fees are quoted ex VAT.
