Governance at GS1 Ireland

GS1 Ireland is an independent, not-for-profit organisation, overseen by a Supervisory Board made up of elected representatives from the industries we serve. These members bring valuable insights from both large enterprises and SMEs, ensuring our strategic direction reflects the needs of the wider business community.

The Supervisory Board is responsible for reviewing and approving our strategy, budget, and annual operating plan. Board members are elected each year at our Annual General Meeting and meet at least four times annually to provide oversight, respond to emerging developments, and explore new strategic opportunities.
