Requirements to cancel or transfer a GS1 Licence

GS1 Ireland Licence Cancellation

You must provide GS1 Ireland with adequate notice of a cancellation if you no longer use your licence and do not wish it to renew automatically in January. All cancellations must be submitted in writing and accompanied by a fully completed and signed GS1 Licence Cancellation Form. You may request a copy of the GS1 Ireland Licence Cancellation Form from Membership Services by calling 01 208 0660 or email accounts@gs1ie.org to request a cancellation form.

Transfer of a GS1 Ireland Licence to another Entity

If you have sold your business or a product line and another entity is now responsible for maintaining the licence please contact our Helpdesk immediately on 01 208 0660 to arrange a GS1 Licence Transfer. We will send you a copy of the GS1 Transfer Notification Form which must be completed by both the original and new licence holders.
