Traded Units - GS1 128


Traded Unit is the term used to define a product or case of product exchanged between two trading partners.  Traded units are commonly known as outer cases and the bar codes used are usually called outer bar codes.  
 

Logistic Label


The main reason for the GS1 Logistic label was to standardize the format of logistic labels. The GS1 Logistic label contains all information necessary for usage during the transport of goods from the picking location to the delivery point. The main benefits include, Globally unique identification, Faster data processing, Saving of time & cost, Information reliability, Full traceability.
