GS1 EFPIA Whitepaper

At GS1, our vision is of a world where things and related information move efficiently and securely for the benefit of organisations and the improvement of peoples’ lives, everyday, everywhere.

In April 2012 we are hosting two national conferences for our Members, Industry Partners and anyone who wishes to learn more about the benefits that result from the utilisation of GS1 global supply chain standards.

The purpose of the GS1 conferences is to educate and inform and to give Irish organisations, both public and private, the opportunity to learn from knowledgeable and informative experts. The speakers are giving of their time to share their learnings and best practices with Irish companies on current topics such as identification, data management and sharing, mobile applications, RFID and traceability. Given the heightened importance of “efficiency” and “value” in today’s current environment, we believe these conferences will appeal directly to those charged with transforming the supply chains and business processes of the organisations they work for, be that in the private or public sector.
