Ostoform raises €3m in funding round
Mullingar-based medical device startup, Ostoform, has raised €3 million in investment, with growth capital investor BGF leading the round. It was also supported by Enterprise Ireland and existing investors including HBAN MedTech. Chief executive and founder Kevin Kelleher said the investment was “a landmark equity raise” for the company. Ostoform designs and manufactures medical seals for use with patients who have received a colostomy, ileostomy or urostomy. BGF is supported in Ireland by the Ireland Strategic Investment Fund (ISIF) and the main Irish banks.

Citrine launches new skincare range for redness
Citrine Healthcare has launched a new skincare range, Rosatrine, for people with skin prone to redness. The range consists of two new products for anti-redness; Rosatrine Light and Rosatrine Intensive. Both products are dermatologically tested and available in pharmacies nationwide. The Rosatrine range is available in Irish pharmacies nationwide, alongside existing Citrine skincare products such as Benoxor Clear Triacine Control.

Flying Tumbler launches three new bottlings
Flying Tumbler has recently launched three new products, The Tippler, The Roller and The Bird. The company sources whiskey to its own specifications and then matures, blends and bottles everything in bond at Carlow Brewing Company. The Tippler is a 12-year-old single cask blend of grain and malt whiskies from two Irish distilleries. The Roller is a single grain Irish Whiskey aged exclusively in 1st fill ex-bourbon casks for at least 5 years. The Bird is a blend of triple distilled grain and malt whiskies married together in oloroso sherry oak casks for over 12 months and then blended with triple distilled single grain and single malt whiskies matured in ex-bourbon oak casks. Flying Tumbler is distributed by Radical Drinks, and can be purchased at specialist off-licenses throughout the country and can be pre-ordered on the Flying Tumbler online store.
